The UK/Australian releases are 90 days after the US releases due to rules concerning foreign rights in the UK. The books will release in the UK on approximately April 1 (Weekends Required), May 5 (Not Planning on You, and May 26 (Fall For Me). I really hate that they can’t release there at the same time because I LOVE my UK readers too and hate that you have to wait!!

Book 3 Release Information

Dear Friends:

This is probably the only time since I started connecting with you, my friends, on Facebook and Twitter that I have actually dreaded to post. As I have gotten to know you all on a more personal basis, it has made the idea of disappointing you so much harder to take. It was confirmed to me today that the release date for Fall For Me has been moved to February 26, 2013. Some of you have already emailed and commented on this today. The first two books in the Danvers series were self-published which meant I had complete control over every aspect. Fall For Me was not self-published, therefore, I have no control over the release dates or any other aspect of it. I was very upset when I found out about the change, mainly because I couldn’t stand to subject you to another delay. After speaking with my publisher at lengths, we both understand the problems that each has. The book sellers are upset about the e-book being released so far in advance of the print book. They feel that this is unfair to them and truthfully it is. Since this is the third book in the series, there is no way to push it ahead of the other two in print order. Since I self-published first, it is almost as if I did everything backwards in the process and my publisher is trying to handle getting the books to print and handling the process with the third book as best as they can. It has been a learning experience for all of us involved. I sincerely apologize for the disappointment and I hope that you will be patient for a little longer. Okay, now that the bad news is out of the way, let’s have some good news. My publisher has agreed to let me release the complete first chapter of Fall For Me and it’s up on my website now! http://sydneylandon.com/index.php/events/. Also, to pass the time until February, they are going to have some contests. I don’t have all of the details yet, but they are planning a contest on Goodreads where twenty-five people will actually win a copy of Fall For Me before it goes on sale! I will also start to release some advance chapters of the new book in a new series I am working on as well. So, my friends please don’t shoot the messenger. I think Fall For Me is my best book yet, and I so hope that you will agree in February that it was worth the wait. . ~~Love, Sydney
